Recently visited beautiful Ochsenfurt and saw the disused railway by the bridge. As I am interested in disused railways, could you tell me where this railway went from and to and when it closed to traffic. Thank you. I apologise for not asking in German.

This part of railway was only for commercial use to supply several companies nearby. The main part of the railway named 'Gaubahn' startet in 1907 April 30. It connected the 4 rivers Main, Thierbach, Gollach and Tauber from Ochsenfurt to Röttingen and had a length of 28,4 kilometers. Last Tour on this railway was May 3rd 1992, dismantling was in 1994/95. Furtheron the routecours is used as the 'Gaubahn bicycle way.
